Free course offers Queen Creek parents information

A local group will be holding a five-week course for parents interested in learning about the resources available to them and their children.

The Southeast Valley Community Alliance is hosting the free interactive courses for parents in the Queen Creek community starting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 at the Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

The courses will then take place April 10 and 14, and May 2 and 8.

The Parent Connection Academy will provide families with updated information and resources “for raising healthy and resilient teens” and will focus on topics including social media, mental health, substance abuse and more.
