Women make connections in Sun City West

Connections, a Sun City West women’s friendship group, held its monthly meeting March 14 at Briarwood Country Club. The speaker was Jonathan Sanchez, District 3 patrol community liaison with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department, who spoke on current issues.

Connections is also hosting a ladies “Friendship Day” lunch 11 a.m. May 9, also at Briarwood. Secure a reservation by send a check for $33 for Connection, PO Box 5314, Sun City West, AZ 85376. No membership is required.

The purpose of this club is to provide a format for Sun City West women to meet other local women, get acquainted, form friendships and support worthy causes within the community.

The club meets the second Thursday of each month for a luncheon and meeting followed by a program or bridge and games. Reservations are required by the first of each month.
