Alyssa Todd has been arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual conduct with a minor in a case involving a 15-year-old boy, police said.

The 23-year-old was arrested this week after Buckeye police were contacted on March 16 by a member of the suspect’s family who said they suspected inappropriate contact between Todd and a student at Odyssey Institute for Advanced and International Studies High School, police stated in a release.

At the time, Todd was a teacher and athletic coach at the school.

Buckeye Police Special Victims Unit detectives “reviewed communications between the suspect and victim and gathered evidence indicating the abuse had occurred on and off campus for at least two months,” the release stated.

Police said it is the third arrest in less than a year of a suspected "female sexual predator" with ties to local schools.
