Reinforcing its longstanding commitment to fostering community and leadership development, Tempe Leadership has announced that applications for Class XL are officially open.
With a history of nurturing the potential of dynamic individuals in the area, the program invites all who live and/or work in Tempe and are eager to deepen their community impact and leadership skills, a press release explained.
From September to May, participants in Class XL will immerse themselves in an extensive curriculum over 18-20 issue days, mainly held on Fridays. This exploration spans critical topics such as public safety, arts and culture, education, business, health and wellness, transportation and human services, the release detailed.
Importantly, each class leaves its mark through a capstone project that benefits the residents or organizations of Tempe — a testament to the program's ethos of actionable leadership.
Tempe Leadership is accepting applications until May 15. The selection process involves a personal interview with the Tempe Leadership Council, with successful candidates to be notified by June 30.
