Get ready for a musical extravaganza that transcends generations as “Forever Young” makes its debut at The Vista Center for the Arts at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 24.

This sensational production promises to be an unforgettable experience, blending powerhouse vocals, dynamite choreography and a heartwarming true story that will make you feel forever young.

Tickets are $51.50 to $61.50, including fees.

Act 1 begins with five best friends in a music-filled suburban basement where they embark on a journey through their parents’ eclectic record collection, discovering the greatest hits of all time.

In a captivating two-act narrative, each cast member introduces themselves through the music that changed their lives, sharing the hits that taught them about love during their high school years.

Act 2 unfolds the lives of the cast after leaving their music-filled haven. From a Las Vegas crooner aspiring to grace the stages where Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin once performed, to a homesick athlete trying to make it in professional baseball, the stories are as diverse as the music that accompanies them. The ensemble includes a man leaving investment banking to pursue a career on the country stage, a cast member sailing the high seas aboard a cruise ship, and a disillusioned student who discovers that sometimes, running away is the key to bringing the band back together.

The show climaxes in New York City, where the cast collaborates to write the very show they joyfully perform for audiences worldwide. Featuring iconic songs by Billy Joel, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Huey Lewis and The News, Styx, Queen, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Brooks and Dunn, The Black Crowes, Bon Jovi and many more, “Forever Young’’ has earned multiple awards and accolades for its outstanding production.
