The city of Surprise is unveiling its annual gallery exhibit of charter school artwork at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.

The Surprise Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission is selecting rotating art displays and some permanent pieces of the city’s art collection, located in the lobby, hallway and courtyard of City Hall.

The viewing is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays from Friday, March 15 through Friday, May 17.

The annual charter school art exhibit at the Surprise City Hall Gallery will feature the artwork of local charter school students in grades one through 12.

With more than 30% of Surprise students attending charter schools, this unique exhibit will feature a diverse array of mediums that are guaranteed to impress and inspire.

This year’s participating charter schools include Arizona Charter Academy, Imagine Rosefield, Imagine Prep Surprise, and Paradise Honors Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
