Sun City P.E.O. chapter holds fashion show, luncheon

Posted

Arizona State P.E.O. Chapter BT/Sun City held a spring fashion show and luncheon April 6. Nine chapter members, and one friend of the chapter, modeled spring apparel from the Cottage Garden 2 in Glendale. The event showcased dresses and other casual outfits for 50 guests.

There was also a high tea-style lunch prepared by “Spill Ur Tea” caterers Tammy Reiter and Leigh Ann Baker. Wine bottle holders (crafted by two chapter members) with attached wine glasses and painted P.E.O. daisies were the table centerpieces and were given out as door prizes. Carol Migray, The Cottage Garden 2 owner, provided four $25 shop gift certificates as additional door prizes.

Chapter BT met its projected fund raising goal and this will allow the chapter to contribute towards Arizona State and International P.E.O. educational projects. Chapter BT looks forward to sponsoring this fundraiser again next spring.
