Now that the Libraries debacle has been settled, can we get back to building our long-awaited Performing Arts Center?
I’m sure the pickleball and dog park issues will be taken care of promptly.
In 2009, Roy Quid, with the Long Range Planning Subcommittee, published a very good description of what was needed for a Performing Arts Center in Sun City. I have a copy. If the current board doesn’t get cracking on this project immediately, then I agree with Mark Beaudry (in his recent letter) that we should vote in five new board members this fall or recall the entire board and the general manager. Dennis Nichols (former and current board member) also wrote an excellent letter revealing the underhanded methods used by the board.
