Sun City West plans Veterans Day closures

Sun City West plans Veterans Day closures

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West will be closing several offices on Friday, Nov. 11, in recognition of Veterans Day. The membership, administrative and golf operations offices will be closed on Nov. 11. The R.H. Johnson Library will be closed as well. The Sports Pavilion will be open from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. while Lizard Acres Pub is open from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

Grandview, Trail Ridge and Desert Trails golf courses will be closed for fall overseeding. All other Sun City West courses will be open regular business hours. All four recreation centers will be open for regular business hours of 6 a.m.-9 p.m.

Members are encouraged to put member credit on personal accounts before the holiday.  There is no expiration on these funds.

  1. Call or visit Member Services, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. weekdays; 623-544-6100
  2. Visit the express payment window outside member services, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays
  3. Visit any open golf pro shop
  4. Visit the R.H. Johnson Snack Bar, located in the lobby of the R.H. Johnson pool
  5. Pay with a credit card only for 1-day use at any of the monitor stations at the four recreation centers
