Chandler resident and photographer Carl Massad sent Independent Newsmedia images from a March 30 rally at Civic Space Park in Downtown Phoenix.
The Arizona Branch for the Party of Socialism led the protest, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to U.S. military aid to Israel.
One protestor also called for Arizona State University to change its position on issues related to Gaza and/or Palestine.
The event also included a march along Downtown Phoenix streets.
