Peoria police released a composite sketch of a man suspected of shooting a former MCSO deputy inside the parking lot of city hall last month.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, between 17 and 19, about 5 feet 7 inches or shorter and 130 to 140 pounds. He has short dark brown hair and a clean cut face. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue baggy pants.

On Feb. 18 at about 2:30 a.m. the Peoria Police Department received a 911 call from a woman who said she had been shot. The woman was playing Pokémon Go in the parking lot of the Peoria City Council Chambers, 8401 W. Monroe St. She told a dispatcher a couple of males told her to get out of her vehicle, with one of them putting a gun to her head.

After being shot in the face, the woman drove off to the area of 83rd Avenue and Washington Street, where police found her.

The shooter is still outstanding and the police seek information on the identity of the individual provided in the sketch. A total of five people were seen outside the woman's vehicle in surveillance video released by police.

Call the Peoria Police Department Tip Line at 623-773-7045 or silent witness at 480-WITNESS for any information on this case.
