The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office seeks the public's help in identifying a vehicle and driver in a hit and run in the Sun City West area.

The incident happened before 4 p.m. April 9 when a motorcyclist was struck by a blue 4-door passenger vehicle on El Mirage Road south of Loop 303. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries.

MCSO said the vehicle was identified from parts as possibly being a 2017-2020 Hyundai Accent. The Hyundai fled the scene southbound on El Mirage Road after the collision. It is missing the right passenger side outside mirror and may have damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

Anyone with information about this collision is asked to contact MCSO at 602-876-1011 or Tips@mcso.maricopa.gov.
