A 21-year-old man has been arrested as the suspect in the death of Lisa Mancuso who was hit by a pickup truck while jogging and died at the scene of the collision, authorities said.

Jacob Moore “self-surrendered” March 18 to officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Unit, according to a release. He was being booked last night for manslaughter and failure to stop at an accident scene.

Mancuso, 43, was hit and killed about 10 a.m. Feb. 24 near 7th Avenue and Cloud in New River, the release stated.

An investigation is continuing, MCSO officials said.

"Our vehicular crimes detectives have worked around the clock for the past few weeks to bring justice for the Mancuso family," Sheriff Russ Skinner said.
