George Zeliff covers sports, schools and neighbors for the North Valley Independents. Originally from Atlanta Georgia, he attended the University of Georgia in Athens and was a member of the Redcoat Marching Band for three years and played in the Rose Bowl parade, three SEC championships and the 2018 CFB National Championship game.
After graduating in 2021, he moved to Arizona to cover sports at Fountain Hills High School. Prior to Fountain Hills, he covered sports across five different high schools for the Oconee Enterprise Newspaper in Watkinsville, Georgia.
