Special to Independent Newsmedia
Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the Pure Imagination Costume Gala this fall.
Attendees can dress up however the theme inspires them, from superheroes to fairy tales and everything in between. The theme “Pure Imagination” is meant to encourage supporters to connect with their inner child and that same sense of adventure, curiosity, and wonder from childhood.
The event starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, 340 N. 3rd St., Phoenix. Local leaders, business owners, community partners, professionals and members of the community who support the Free Arts mission are invited.
Free Arts has grown to 27 members, including new leadership focused on expanding Free Arts statewide by 2028. The Pure Imagination Costume Gala celebrates 30 years of growth.
Three Resilience Leadership Awards will be given to Frank Thompson, Susie Silverman and Desert Financial Credit Union, all who have played a significant role in Free Arts work, a press release explains.
Tickets are $300 per individual and tables for 10 are available for $2,700. Visit bit.ly/FreeArts30th for tickets.
This event is presented by Lincoln Heritage. Additional sponsors include Desert Financial Credit Union, Edward Jones, Nationwide, and The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation.
