Cyrus Guccione is a the Arts & Entertainment Editor for the North Valley Independents, which includes Fountain Hills, Scottsdale and Town of Paradise Valley.

He is originally from Lubbock, Texas, but grew up between Eureka, California, and Fountain Hills.

Before joining Independent Newsmedia, he spent four years working in the insurance industry underwriting life, accident and disability insurance plans for Cigna and New York Life. He started freelancing for the Phoenix New Times covering tech/economy and cannabis culture before joining The Fountain Hills Times as a business, clubs, entertainment and religion reporter. The Independent acquired the publication in July 2023.
