A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a woman Sunday morning at a McDonald’s restaurant near West Greenway Road and North Reems Road, Surprise police said.
The stabbing occurred about 8:30 a.m. Feb. 18, and the victim was taken to a hospital where she is recovering, according to a release.
Officers learned a man with long dark hair ran from the scene, and a search began.
A vehicle was reported stolen a few blocks away by a man matching the description of the stabbing suspect, police said.
The Surprise Police Department coordinated its effort with Valley police agencies, and Scottsdale police officers found the stolen vehicle and took the suspect, Raad Almansoori, 26, into custody without incident, the release stated.
