An investigation is underway after a 50-year-old man died following a collision early Tuesday morning, police said.
Jose Sanchez Rodriguez, a pedestrian, died at a hospital after the crash that occurred shortly after midnight April 30 near 33rd Street and McDowell Road, according to a release.
Preliminary information suggests Sanchez Rodriguez was walking north crossing McDowell Road when he was struck by a vehicle headed east on McDowell, police said, adding impairment is not believed to be a factor.
