CommonSpirit Health is getting a new president.
The new president — Anthony Houston— will take over as president in the Arizona market this summer, an announcement stated.
Houston — a former president and market chief operating officer for CommonSpirit Health in Tennessee — serves on a wide range of boards including the Kentucky Hospital Association and the American Heart Association, the announcement stated.
CommonSpirit Health is the parent organization of Dignity Health.
“With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Anthony is a team-oriented executive who has a strong background in hospital and health system operations, strategy, and financial management,” said Tim Bricker, president and CEO of CommonSpirit Health’s Central Region. “Tony is extremely committed to CommonSpirit’s mission and values. A known collaborator, he will be a great addition to our exceptional Arizona team.”
