20-year-old man found dead on west Phoenix street

Phoenix homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man who was shot Friday afternoon.

Police responded just after 1 p.m. April 26 to an emergency call near 104th Avenue and Payson Road where they found Mohamed Toure, 20, with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are asking the community to help by providing any information by calling into Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO.
