Heads up, music lovers, the Mesa Music Festival is returning to downtown April 18-20 featuring more than 250 performances — all for free.
The event, presented by Visit Mesa and Amazon, features numerous acts, including Grey Daze, which headlines the second day of the festival 10-11 p.m. April 19 at the Nile Theater, 105 W. Main St. Weathers headlines the final day of the festival at 7:30 p.m. April 20 on the Mesa Sessions Main Stage.
“We are thrilled to bring the Mesa Music Festival to downtown Mesa for the seventh year,” said Indian Antao, director of the Mesa Music Festival. “With an incredible lineup of performers and exciting events planned, this year’s festival promises to be the biggest and best yet. Whether you’re a music enthusiast or a casual listener, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the Mesa Music Festival.”
Besides live performances, the festival will also feature a keynote address, networking parties, and music symposium.
A press release stated the first 175 artists announced will highlight a diverse offering featuring metal, folk, country, hip hop, rock, and more.
“The impact of the festival is substantial for Arizona musicians, local businesses and the community at large,” said Terry Madeksza, president of the Downtown Mesa Association. “With artists and participants joining from across the globe, Mesa is truly establishing itself as a music city.”
