Howard, age 99, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024 in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Born on October 23, 1924 in Two Harbors, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Asher and his daughter Catherine (John) Jarosz. He is survived by his son Christopher (Patricia) of Bremerton Washington, grandchildren Steven, Matthew and Jenna and great-grandson Logan. Fond uncle to niece, Georgi Bell. Howard was a proud Navy veteran and happily collected clothing, dishes, stickers and placards announcing that fact. He was a member of VFW Post 7507. Visitation will be at Messinger’s Chapel in Fountain Hills on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. A funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Ascension in Fountain Hills on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
