Kiwanis Club of Apache Junction donates curriculum to Four Peaks Elementary School

Posted

The Kiwanis Club of Apache Junction recently donated Title 1 curriculum to Four Peaks Elementary School, 1785 N. Idaho Road in Apache Junction.

It is an ongoing Kiwanis of Apache Junction program that provides the material each year to an elementary school in the community, according to a release.

"The Title 1 provides for struggling readers in elementary and secondary schools. This service is in addition to what the classroom teacher provides in the classroom. The goal is to assist students to higher levels of literacy and to acquire a strong skill set for reading," the release states.
