Landlords and property managers are invited to a meeting Thursday in Apache Junction to learn about the many different housing programs available in Pinal County.
Those in attendance will hear from the Pinal County Coalition to End Homelessness and the many partners who serve Pinal County residents.
A series of roundtable events are planned for Pinal county with the first taking place at 8 a.m. March 28 at the Apache Junction Multi-generational Center, 1035 N. Idaho Road.
The second roundtable event will take place at 8 a.m. April 23 at The Presbyterian Church, 702 E. Cottonwood Lane in Casa Grande.
At these meetings, landlords and property managers will learn about the eviction prevention and housing assistance programs, homelessness prevention and how each agency’s housing program process works, according to a release.
“This will be a great opportunity for landlords and property managers to familiarize themselves with many other housing programs that assist not only the homeless but also domestic violence victims, veterans, individuals with physical and mental disabilities, and those who may have recently become homeless or just need some assistance due to unexpected events. Landlords can share their expectations when working with these programs,” it states.
Community Action Human Resources Agency, Molina Healthcare of AHCCCS, Department of Economic Security’s Division of Community Assistance and Development, A New Leaf, Pinal County Housing Authority, National Community Health Partners, and Southwest Fair Housing Council will be in attendance to share information about their programs and answer questions.
