The Sun City West Visitors Center, 13823 Camino del Sol, opened in 1997 to provide visitors and prospective homebuyers information on the community’s amenities and lifestyle.

The Visitors Center is owned and operated by the Property Owners and Residents Association and is located in the PORA building. The center greets more than 9,000 visitors every year.

The center is operated by staff and volunteers who distribute information about the community, show informational films and provide tourism information for Arizona and surrounding areas.

Operating hours are limited, and certain restrictions are now in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Call 623-584-4288 for information.

The archive photograph depicts the Visitors Center shortly before it opened in 1997. With the exception of a few modifications to the PORA portion of the building, and addition of the landscaping, the Visitors Center has not changed much since its opening.
