McCarthy: Reader praises USPS office in Sun City West

I’ve been a writer for more than 40 years and I’ve used UPS, FedEx and other shippers far more than most.
But never, in all my years, have I enjoyed and admired the U.S. Post Office as much as the one we have in Sun City West. The drive-thru is extremely popular, especially in the heat of summer and the pick-ups are frequent.
Inside, the staff is always professional, courteous and patient with an older population that sometimes needs a lot of explanation and patience. I count myself particularly fortunate when I am served behind the counter by a wonderful and long-time employee named Susan. She is unfailingly kind and knowledgeable.
From the drivers who deliver our home mail through the awful heat of summer, to the janitorial staff and everyone in between, our Sun City West US Post Office is first class.
