AAUW hosts speaker Nov. 19

The American Association of University Women - Northwest Valley hosts Jewel Chaunduri as its principal speaker during the group’s 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 general meeting at the Sun City West Foundation, 14465 W. R.H. Johnson Blvd.

The in-person meeting is limited to 50, but the meeting and speaker will also be virtual via Zoom.

Ms. Chaunduri is a champion for women’s power in Phoenix and founded Power-Couer Coaching and Lovebands.

The American Association of University Women promotes equity and education for women and girls.  Since its founding in 1881, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day: educational, social, economic and political.

Membership is open to anyone holding an associate’s, bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
