West Valley Symphony season shelved until January
Posted
The West Valley Symphony's next season is now scheduled to start with “A Salute to England” on Jan. 10 in The Vista Center for the Arts, 15550 N. Parkview Place.
In a news release, the board of directors of the West Valley Symphony reached a decision based on what it believes is in the best interests of both the audience and musicians using current information available from the CDC and Arizona regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The symphony promoted a group of concerts for the coming season starting in November and booked guest artists for most of them. But the board decided to move the November concerts to dates in February and March.
The December holiday concert will also be eliminated for this season.
The symphony will add another date in April to accommodate the present March concert.
