Two Sun City Agua Fria National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter daughters presented Vietnam War era veterans a 50th anniversary commemoration lapel pin and brochure, which explains the meaning of the symbols on the pin.

Five Sun City Wood Carving Club members were recognized, honored and thanked for their service, sacrifice and commitment to the preservation of America’s freedom.

Any veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. armed forces between Nov. 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975 qualifies for this special recognition. In the state of Arizona alone, there are about 160,000 Vietnam-era veterans. All organizations are invited to join this Commemoration Partners Program.
