P.E.O. gives grant, loan

The Philanthropic Educational Organization Chapter CL of Sun City West awarded Jenna Syverson a continuing education grant of $1,600 as well as a P.E.O. education loan in the amount of $14,000. The P.E.O. educational loan fund makes loans available (current rate is 2%) to qualified women who desire a higher education and are in need of financial assistance. Presenting the check to Ms. Syverson, center, are Anita Dekowski, left, and Betty Schryver, from Chapter CL. When Ms. Syverson completes her program in December, she will have obtained her master’s degree in cardiovascular science.
