D-Backs ‘Fan Fest’ set for Saturday at Chase Field

Posted

PHOENIX — Team officials announced they will host the 16th Annual Arizona Diamondbacks Fan Fest 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Chase Field, 401 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix.

The popular annual event will give fans access to current players, coaches, alumni and broadcasters, who will be on hand to answer questions and pose for photos.

Players and alums scheduled to sign autographs include Starling Marte, Ketel Marte, Nick Ahmed, Archie Bradley, David Peralta, Luis Gonzalez and Randy Johnson, among others.

The event will offer young fans a bunch of fun opportunities this year, according to team officials.

“With the return to Chase Field, fans will be able to take a tour of the Home Clubhouse and access the Sandlot kids’ play area. Fans can access the field for baseball activities and are encouraged to bring a glove to play catch,” officials stated in a press Monday release.

The fan-favorite D-backs Yard Sale returns this season to benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.

The sale will take place just inside the gates at the Gila River Hotels & Casinos Plaza.

Fans can also watch and listen as players, coaches and front office executives participate in live interviews with broadcast partners FOX Sports Arizona and Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

Team officials have introduced a clear bag policy this season for all stadium events.

To attend, fans must claim their free ticket online, which can be downloaded directly to a mobile phone.
