Connors: New year brings a new hope

Posted

Hallelujah. A sparkling new year. A long-awaited and hoped-for beginning.

That’s what I said to myself when I was 15 — I can’t wait to be 16 and drive into new freedom.

Then I was driving and I said to myself: “I can’t wait to be 17, graduate and go on to college, new places, more fun.

Then I was in college and I said to myself: “I cant wait to turn 18 and be able to go to Hamilton’s (a well-known Chicago bar — the age in Chicago was 18 then). Then….

You get the picture. What I hoped for fired my imagination and my energy. It’s still does — especially now.

Imagine 2021 as a clean slate on which you write an inspiring, maybe even heartwarming, chapter in the book of your life. What do you want to title this chapter?

What kind of title would energize you and fire up your creative juices? I’m wrapping my hopes and heart’s desires in the title, “A Life Beyond Amazing.”

We stand on the horizon of a brand new year. It’s a clean slate with an open gate to create new beginnings, new experiences, new good. Hopefully, it’s ‘goodbye” for good to the virus that has help us captive.

Now, looking closely at how you might design this new year, what calls to you?

Your highest, most beautiful emotions create an electrical charge that penetrates the quantum field and magnetizes to you matching experiences. In other words, get loving, enthusiastic, grateful, generous, caring. Get your heart thumping to the beautiful music that stirs your soul.

It’s a year for hope — hope that blossoms into a Life Beyond Amazing in 2021.
