A man was arrested in connection with a shooting in Buckeye.

Lacory Antonio Hall, 24, faces charges of aggravated assault, attempted second-degree murder and disorderly conduct.

Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, Buckeye police received a report of a domestic violence incident ending in a shooting near Baseline Road and 1st Street, north of MC 85.

The caller said Mr. Hall allegedly shot his 22-year-old girlfriend in the leg and then left the area, according to court documents.

Police found Mr. Hall less than a mile from the residence and arrested him without incident. Police said he led them to where his firearm fell while he ran from the scene.

The victim was taken to a Goodyear hospital for treatment.

Mr. Hall was jailed in lieu of a $750,000 cash-only bond with court dates Jan. 17 and 23.
