Southwest Behavioral & Health Services has a new chief operating officer and chief psychologist in two promotions announced on Monday.

Dominic Miller was promoted to COO, and he will oversee the organization's day-to-day operations. Dr. Lynnette Livesay was promoted to chief psychologist.

Mr. Miller recently served as vice president of outpatient services for the organization, where he provided oversight for locations across Maricopa, Gila, Yavapai and Coconino counties. He helped to spearhead co-location partnerships with primary care providers in central Arizona.

“Since joining SB&H, Dominic has distinguished himself as a dynamic operational leader,” said CEO Steven Sheets. “His demonstrated ability to lead and execute our strategy will be a tremendous asset in his new role. Dominic is well-respected among his peers, and I couldn’t be happier to have him as a part of our executive leadership team.”

Dr. Livesay most recently was administrator of clinical education, where she was responsible for the doctoral psychology internship program and clinical oversight of trainees.

“Through Dr. Livesay’s dedication and passion, countless individuals and families have been profoundly impacted during the most vulnerable points in their lives,” Mr. Miller said. “I know she will continue to impact and inspire others in her new role.”

She earned her bachelor's degree from Arizona State University, her master's degree in counseling from University of Phoenix, and her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.
