Scottsdale entrepreneur Jennifer Adler wins national business award

Jennifer Adler, founder and CEO of Adler Public Relations, was recently named the winner of a silver Stevie Award in the Entrepreneur of the Year: Advertising, Marketing, & Public Relations category in The 19th Annual American Business Awards.

Her second American Business Award win, she was recognized with a bronze Stevie Award for “Communications Professional of the Year” in 2019, according to a press release. The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

After working in public relations at large Phoenix-area advertising agencies for more than a decade, Ms. Adler started her own firm in March 2019. Adler Public Relations is a Scottsdale-based, boutique lifestyle and luxury PR firm that specializes in representing restaurant, hospitality and real estate brands. She has earned the business of more than 20 well-known clients.

Last year, despite the challenges presented by COVID, the release said she managed to increase the company’s gross revenue 68% throughout the years.

“Being recognized with this prestigious, national award is especially meaningful this year, as being a new entrepreneur through a global pandemic has not been easy,” said Ms. Adler in a prepared statement. “I’m extremely proud of the company I’ve built and our resilience through 2020. We are honored to represent the caliber of clients that we do and look forward to continued growth this year.”

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be virtually presented to winners during a live event on Wednesday, June 30, according to the release.

A record-breaking amount of over 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in nearly every industry were submitted this year in various categories. More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“The American economy continues to show its resilience, and as we’re poised on the beginning of what should be a phenomenal period of growth, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of a wide range of organizations and people over the past 18 months,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher in a prepared statement.

“This year’s Stevie-winning nominations in The American Business Awards are testament to the ingenuity, the commitment, the passion, the adaptability, and the creativity of the American people. We look forward to celebrating this year’s winners during our virtual ceremony on June 30.”
