Scottsdale company donates over 1 ton of water to St. Mary’s Food Bank

Scottsdale-based A Always Open Garage Doors has announced the donation of 2,300 pounds of water to St. Mary’s Food Bank.
The garage door repair company donated the bottles of water because of the success of an ongoing charity promotion, according to a press release.
A Always Open Garage Doors is donating a case of water for every garage door installation or garage door repair.
Company owner Mark Dal Soglio said he started the promotion as a way to get his business more involved with the community.
“We wanted to do something different during our busiest time of the year, so instead of doing discounts we decided to do something that would benefit the whole community as well as our customers,” Mr. Soglio said. “St. Mary’s told us they were always in need of water so we decided to donate a case of water every time we did a job.”
Customers have been enthusiastic about the promotion, and A Always Garage Doors expects to donate more water to St. Mary’s Food Bank this month, the press release stated.
“Word of mouth has been getting around about our promotion,” Mr. Soglio said. “Customers have been referring other people to us and donations this month are looking better than last month.”
Mr. Soglio went on to say the community’s response is an uplifting moment in an otherwise difficult year.
“With everything going on in the world, it was amazing to see our community so upbeat and happy to help people,” Mr. Soglio said. “It a gratifying experience to see our business and the community come together.”
A Always Open Garage Doors will continue this promotion through the rest of the year. For more information call 480-703-9963.
