Police: Suspect breaks into Scottsdale Stadium, plays on field

The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who broke in to and damaged the Scottsdale Stadium.

On May 16, between 7:26 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., an unknown white male subject entered the secured fenced yard at Scottsdale Stadium, 7408 E. Osborn Road, in the downtown area.

He was captured on video surveillance throwing baseballs on the field and standing on the dugout.

The suspect forced entry into the clubhouse by breaking three windows on an east-facing roll-up door with a metal stake, police say. The suspect then allegedly criminally damaged the players’ locker room with a fire extinguisher.

According to police, the suspect caused approximately $3,000 in damages.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his mid-20s, medium build and blonde hair with facial hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with light blue shorts and sandals.
