Mineer becomes youngest female in Scottsdale Elks history elected exalted ruler
Posted
I am honored to serve this amazing organization and continue to raise funds to support our local charities. Our members are unbelievably generous and after the trials of 2020, I know we are all ready to get back out into the community.”
Anna Mineer
The Scottsdale Elks Lodge recently elected its youngest female exalted ruler in lodge history, Anna Mineer.
Elected as the 2021-2022 exalted ruler for the Scottsdale Elks Lodge #2148, she is president of High Impact Promotions & Events, according to a press release, noting there are more than 600 members.
In the lodge's over 60-year history, Ms. Mineer is the youngest woman elected to the position in the West District consisting of 11 lodges, the release said, adding until 1995, the Elks had traditionally been an all-male fraternal order.
“I am honored to serve this amazing organization and continue to raise funds to support our local charities. Our members are unbelievably generous and after the trials of 2020, I know we are all ready to get back out into the community. Our charitable efforts focus on veterans and children in need; however, Elks are here to assist the entire community,” said Ms. Mineer in a prepared statement.
“As a lodge we have some amazing charity events coming up.”
Upcoming events:
Mother’s Day – Mom’s eat free and all proceeds go to Elks Charities
Bar Olympics - all proceeds go to Elks Charities
Memorial Day – Huge barbecue event benefiting the PTSD Foundation of America with over 100 full-sized flags posted around the property. Guest speakers will be there.
The fraternal organization has a mission of caring and sharing in the community, added the release.
