Local fashion consignment shop announces face masks for sale

My Sister’s Closet, the No. 1 fashion consignment brand in metro-Phoenix and San Diego, is now selling “designer” face masks.

Featuring prints of favorite luxury brands, these locally-made cotton masks are available by calling 480-443-4575 Monday through Saturday between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or emailing info@mysisterscloset.com. Cost is $29.95 and shipping is a flat $5 fee.

Available prints include Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Celine, Fendi, Christian Louboutin and Hermes. They are recycled from dust covers and professionally sewn into non-medical masks, according to a press release.

While My Sister’s Closet’s brick-and-mortar stores are currently closed to the public due to the “stay-at-home” orders, shopping is still available for customers online at mysisterscloset.com. Store managers who continue to work to fulfill these orders will be wearing these new masks and practicing social distancing as the brand is committed to providing the safest work environment possible.

In addition to the inventory featured online, both My Sister’s Closet and sibling brand Well Suited (designer men’s apparel and accessories) are offering personal shopping services via FaceTime or phone calls.

Whether the customer is looking for workout wear, including a variety of LuluLemon tops, shorts, camis and pants, or designer specific clothing, a single staff member is available at each of the stores to answer the phone and help with requests. Items are available to be picked up curbside or shipped.

One of the store’s best selling categories in the era of COVID-19 is loungewear, the press release stated. Comfortable silk, linen or cotton drawstring pants, oversized tees and knit tops, loose silk button ups, and easy-slip on shoes are in demand.

Clothing from the likes of Eileen Fisher, Babette and Eskandar is designed for relaxation and proving to be popular as more people work from home or don’t leave the house. Items at My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited are priced 60% to 90% below retail prices. A list of stores and phone numbers can be found at mysisterscloset.com.

“One customer asked what would be appropriate to wear when she gets to leave the house and take the trash out,” said CEO Ann Siner. “Guess we are all just trying to make the best of the situation!”
