HonorHealth Foundation’s Honor Ball 2020 raises $1.3 million

Posted

The Honor Ball continued this year with great entertainment, dinner and dancing, where more than $1 million was raised for the local health organization.

The 44th annual Honor Ball was held at the Camelback Inn’s Arizona Ballroom. More than 700 guests enjoyed a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing, featuring Impulse, West Coast Music of Beverly Hills.

3TV’s Good Morning Arizona news anchor Scott Pasmore served as emcee. The décor was provided by White House Design Studio.

The special evening paid tribute to Jean and Curt Feuer for their relentless compassion and desire to make a difference for the community and in their Massachusetts community where they spend their summers.

From their own personal stories of overcoming challenges faced by family and loved ones, to their quiet, yet impactful, philanthropic spirit, Jean and Curt have risen to the occasion time and time again to help others in need, according to a press release.

The Feuers have graciously supported and hosted events for the Honor Ball, as well as the HonorHealth Foundation Circle of Distinction. Mr. Feuer has served as a valued member of the HonorHealth Foundation board of Trustees for 13 years.

“Because of the wonderful philanthropic support provided by our community every year, HonorHealth is able to find cures, save lives, and improve the wellbeing of those we serve,” said Jared A. Langkilde, president and CEO of HonorHealth Foundation. “I’m profoundly grateful to every single donor who makes it possible for HonorHealth to offer the highest of quality in healthcare programs and services anywhere in the world right here in our own community. Thank you.”

The evening raised more than $1.3 million that will benefit HonorHealth services, treatment, research and innovation for cancer, cardiovascular and stroke.

Since inception, the Honor Ball has raised more than $15 million to benefit HonorHealth and support its leadership role in bringing medical care to the community, the press release stated.
