The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a cold sexual assault case from 2003.

On June 3, 2003, between 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., an unknown male offender entered the victim’s apartment at 2929 N. 70th St., and sexually assaulted the female victim, according to police officials.

The suspect was described as a white male, in his 30s, 5-feet, 6-inches to 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weighing 185 to 195 pounds, with tan skin and light-colored eyes.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white and orange pinstriped collared dress shirt, blue jeans, dark shoes with laces. It is believed the suspect exited the front door after the assault.

The victim assisted in providing a composite sketch of the suspect soon after the crime.
