Private jet operator signs lease at new corporate hangar in Mesa
Posted
CBRE recently announced that Skybridge Arizona has pre-leased its first hangar to a private jet operator in Mesa.
CBRE’s Jackie Orcutt, Kevin Cosca and Pete Wentis represented the developer in the 10,286-square-foot lease transaction, according to a release.
Skybridge Arizona, 6341 S. Downwind Circle, is a 435-acre multiuse gateway development adjacent to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is owned and operated by the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority. PMGAA consists of representation from Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Gila River Indian Community, Phoenix and Apache Junction.
“SkyBridge is the first developer to build a speculative, multi-tenant hangar at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport in over 25 years,” Ms. Orcutt said in the release. “It showcases their confidence in this expanding and evolving market.”
The 81,226-square-foot hangar will deliver this month and has availability to accommodate tenants between 10,000 square feet and up to 70,000 square feet.
SkyBridge will start construction this quarter on the next development phase, which is slated to deliver more than 500,000 square feet of speculative, Class A industrial and manufacturing buildings this year.
SkyBridge Managing Partner Felipe Monroy said in the release the lease was a good start to developing the facility.
“They will be the first of many aeronautically focused tenants to come," he said.
