'Healthy Living with Diabetes Workshop' Fridays March 13-April 17

Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens is hosting a "Healthy Living with Diabetes Workshop" for 2.5 hours once a week for  six weeks.

The workshop is to be held 9:30 a.m.-noon Fridays March 13-April 17 at the Pinal County Public Health Clinic, 36235 N. Gantzel Road in San Tan Valley, according to a release.

Participants will receive a free book and relaxation CD.

Learn how to take control and manage your health. The workshop will teach the skills needed to manage the condition and get your life back, the release states.

The workshop is free. Seating is limited. Register by March 9 at Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens by calling 520-836-2758 or or by sending an e-mail to maryg@pgcsc.org.
