Concert honoring Arizona's military women April 19 in San Tan Valley

A concert honoring Arizona's military women, featuring Jeff Senour and CTS – Called to Serve, is April 19 in San Tan Valley.

The event at Combs Performing Arts Center, 2505 E. Germann Road in San Tan Valley, is to start at 2:15 p.m. with guests arriving via a helicopter, according to a release.

"Through music and inspiration, we will honor and celebrate the service of our Arizona military women," the release states.

Advance tickets are $10 and are available at eventbrite.com/e/honoring-arizona-military-women-concert-tickets-90851706901.

Tickets are also available at the door for $15. To donate a ticket, do so at the Eventbrite site.

Proceeds will go to Veterans First Ltd., Military Women Across the Nation, Women’s Army Corps  and women veterans programs at the 2021 Standdown.

Festivities begin with VIP guests flown in by an A-Star Helicopter from H5 Helicopters piloted by Mr. Senour.

VIP guests include World War II Navy veteran Ruth Ann Power; Korean/Vietnam War Lt. Col. Jeanne Botwright, USMC, Ret,; and Joe Torrillo, a 9/11 survivor who was buried alive in the World Trade Center, the release states.

"CTS – Called To Service is an award-winning band led by Jeff Senour, a pilot-by-day and rocker-by night," the release states. "From Hollywood films as an aerial film pilot, TV show host, speaker and singer/songwriter, our Renaissance man Jeff and his amazing band will inspire you live each day to the fullest and restore hope to our world. Jeff and CTS have made it their mission to inspire people of all ages to live the American dream and honor those who serve."
