Burks: 'Back the Blue Rally' held in Apache Junction

Posted

On July 9 --- 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. --- there was a “Back the Blue Rally,”organized by your District 5 Pinal County supervisor, Todd House, and your Pinal County assessor, Doug Wolf.

I was in attendance and was so proud of the 99% of vehicles passing by that honked their horns in support of our police.

We had a visit from the Apache Junction police chief, Thomas E. Kelly; along with several officers thanking us for our support.

It was so fun to see the fire district trucks honking in support, along with those big-rigs, motorcycles, passenger cars, and even bicyclists and pedestrians who showed their support and enthusiasm.

The participants proudly held signs saying “honk if you support the blue,” along with waving American flags and the police flag.

Thank you Todd House, Doug Wolf and the many attendees who came out to support our police and stand against lawlessness.

God bless America.
