Posted
Independent Newsmedia
Holiday Lights at Salt River Fields kicks off on Nov. 23 with a dazzling drive-through holiday light experience, debuting to celebrate the season.
With nearly five million lights greeting Yuletide revelers along 1.2 miles, encircling the award-winning spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies, Holiday Lights at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick opens Nov. 23 and ends on New Year’s Eve.
Hours are 5:45-10 p.m. daily with tickets ranging from a general admission of $35 on weekdays to a $355 weekend carriage ride for 12.
Among highlights:
Six holiday themed “tunnels” of lights
Four tons of steel used – handcrafted locally here in the Valley
Holiday light vignettes connecting each tunnel
A loop around award-winning Salt River Fields at Talking Stick
Option to enjoy the ride in a “carriage” for 2-6 or 7-12 guests
Holiday Lights at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is designed as a safe, drive-through experience from the comfort of one’s own vehicle, the release said.
Guests navigate through a mile-long path that surrounds the award-winning baseball facility on a route of light displays, synchronized to Christmas melodies with holiday themes and characters. Holiday songs will be simulcast into vehicles on a designated FM radio signal.
During the 7 p.m. hour, on Thursday, Dec. 10, the first day of Hanukkah, Holiday Lights at Salt River Fields will greet visitors in a blue and white motif to honor the Jewish holiday.
The holiday event is produced by R Entertainment with Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, designed by Steve Driscoll.
Tickets for various experiences such as a VIP with a Fast Pass, Limo or small bus access are available at HolidayLightsSRF.com.
