Peoria Unified school board, staff will provide a COVID-19 update, Sept. 24

The Peoria Unified School District governing board and staff will provide a COVID-19 update at a public meeting, 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24 at the district administrative office,
6330 W Thunderbird Rd, Glendale.
Full in-person instruction has begun for K-2 students and will start for grades 3-12, Sept. 28.
Staff will discuss the opening and other COVID-19 related information.
Other agenda items include superintendent goals for the 2020-2021 school year, enrollment capacity, and the reengagment of the calendar committee, which is tasked with developing three years of school calendars that reflect the start and end dates for the school year, as well as holiday observances and breaks.
