Medical workers getting a balanced diet: Cigna provides fresh produce to frontliners

Posted

Cigna Medical Group is supporting its more than 1,000 employees working on the frontlines in health care centers across the Valley during the COVID-19 pandemic in a variety of ways, including making sure they eat their vegetables.

Cigna recently partnered with Blue Sky Organic Farms, a family farm located in Litchfield Park to provide fresh produce to each employee.

This includes employees who work at two Peoria locations: Arrowhead Ranch Health Center, 21731 N. 77th Ave., Suite #1300, and Sun City Multi-Specialty Center and Urgent Care, 9069 W. Thunderbird Rd.

All Cigna Medical Group employees from 20 health care centers across the Valley participated. There were five different centers employees could pick up their produce. A recipe exchange was also available to share healthy food ideas using the vegetables.
