The Scottsdale Senior Expo is set to make its return Tuesday, March 3 with a bevy of opportunities for adults 55 years or better to interact with vendors and walk away with plenty of goodies.

This is the second year Independent Newsmedia has hosted the free event, which will be at The J Scottsdale/Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus, 12701 N. Scottsdale Road.

“We are excited to partner with The J Scottsdale and look forward to introducing our vendors to this new location,” Barbara Wandling, events manager for Independent Newsmedia, said.

The Scottsdale Senior Expo is a chance for adults above the age of 55 to meet with a variety of vendors selected primarily for seniors. Attendees must bring a valid ID to attend the senior expo. This is a venue requirement.

Vendors will provide a variety of fun activities, free screenings and resources to help seniors enjoy a more healthy and active lifestyle.

Those visiting the Scottsdale Independent's table will have a chance to register to win Renaissance Festival tickets. The festival is  every weekend through March 28-29.

Mobile On Site Mammography by SimonMed Imaging will be attending and providing valuable information on Mammograms.

Other businesses planning to attend this year’s event include Re-bath & Kitchens, Aetna, Miracle Ear Hearing Center, Medstar Medical Transport, Humana Insurance, Expedia CruiseShip Centers and many more.

“We have assembled the best companies and the brightest individuals in one location for a half-day event,” Ms. Wandling said.

The Scottsdale Senior Expo is accepting vendor registration through Wednesday, Feb. 19. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Potential vendors can reserve a spot by contacting Ms. Wandling at 623-208-7866 or by emailing her as bwandling@newszap.com.
